Makro/ 5 Plunger metering pump

The makro/ 5 motor-driven plunger metering pump is characterized by its modular design for add-ons. With the option of one or two liquid ends and one or several add-on pumps, its performance can be enhanced up to a maximum of 5,280 gph (20,000 L/h).

Features

  • The drive unit is designed for operating two liquid ends with an output of 2 x 1,590 gph (6,000 L/h)
  • Can be increased to 5,280 gph (20,000 L/h) by adding up to three add-on pumps, and with reduced back pressure up to four add-on pumps (the use of an installation frame is necessary).
  • Back pressure 4,640 - 87 psig (320 - 6 bar)
  • Push-pull operation of the liquid ends with dual head designs
  • Standard drive: Dual wound three-phase motor 3 kW (optional 5.5 KW), 230/400 V, 50/60 Hz, enclosure class rated IP 55 (optional ATEX-T3/T4), insulation class F
  • Stroke displacement 0 - 1.97" (0-50 mm)
  • Stroke length setting: manual (optional with variable speed drive)
  • Optional electronic frequency converter for speed control, enclosure class rated IP54, with monitor for monitoring the temperature of the motor
  • Optional stroke sensor with NAMUR signal for exact recording of each metering stroke, suitable for batch metering or proportional metering
  • Gear housing: Cast iron, resistant to seawater, acrylic resin lacquer finish
  • Plunger liquid ends made of stainless steel
  • Ceramic oxide ceramic or stainless steel plungers with ceramic coating for protection against wear
  • Repeatable accuracy better than ± 0.5 % 
  • Suction lift varies with density and viscosity of the medium as well as the connecting pipework and the number of strokes
