Makro TZ Plunger metering pump

The motor-driven packed-plunger metering pump Makro/TZ because of its modular design is excellently suited to being adapted to the performance requirements of the particular application. A great variety of options are available for its operation, either one or two liquid ends and one or several add-on pumps which the customer can fit at a later stage.

Features

  • Performance range for the single pump: 2.4 - 301 gph (9 – 1,141 L/h), 4,641 - 159 psig (320 - 11 bar)
  • Supplied as a single or dual-headed version
  • Push-pull operation of the liquid ends with dual head designs
  • Can be easily upgraded to a triple pump at a reduced back pressure to more pumps even on the customer’s premises
  • Independent of the main metering pump, other stroke counts can be achieved with the add-on pumps, as each TZ add-on pump has its own reducing gear
  • Standard drive: Dual wound three-phase motor 230/400 V, 50/60 Hz, 0.75 or 1.5 kW (2.2 kW or 3 kW also available as options) enclosure class rated IP 55 (optional ATEX-T3/T4), insulation class F
  • Gearing in 4 optional reduction ratios
  • Stroke length: 0 to 0.78" (0 - 20 mm) and adjustable to 0.5 % precision using a gyrating cylinder
  • Stroke length setting: manual (optional with actuator or variable speed drive)
  • Gear housing: Cast iron, resistant to seawater, acrylic resin lacquer finish
  • Liquid end materials: Stainless steel
  • Metering plungers in oxide ceramic or stainless steel with ceramic coating for protection against wear
  • Reproducibility of metering better under defined conditions and correct installation ± 0.5 % (stroke length 10-100 %)
  • Suction lift varies with density and viscosity of the medium as well as the connecting pipes and the number of strokes
