Product description

ProMix M: Engineered for Consistent, High‑Quality Polymer Mixing

The ProMix M is a pre‑engineered polymer mixing system designed for demanding water and wastewater applications where reliability, accuracy, and polymer efficiency are essential. Built around a three‑zone mixing chamber, the system delivers staged polymer activation—high‑energy dispersion, controlled vortex conditioning, and gentle final blending—to maximize polymer performance while preventing chain damage that can reduce effectiveness.

To accommodate a wide range of process requirements, the ProMix M is available with two advanced control configurations:

  • A Controls (Inline Mode): Ideal for operators who prefer hands‑on, polymer load/dosing‑based control. Polymer pump speed is set manually or via a 4–20 mA signal, allowing precise adjustment based on process conditions.
  • B Controls (Batch Mode): Designed for automated, concentration‑based operation. Users set a desired polymer concentration (0–1%), and the controller automatically modulates pump output in real time as water flow changes—ensuring stable, repeatable solution quality with less operator intervention.

Available with diaphragm or progressive cavity technologies, the ProMix M allows operators to match the system to the polymer type, viscosity, and required feed rates. Its open, service‑friendly layout—with twist‑lock fittings and an easy‑access injection valve—helps streamline routine maintenance. Integration is equally straightforward, whether using the local LCD/touchpad interface or remote 4–20 mA control, and optional features such as variable water flow regulation help maintain consistent concentration as conditions change. Together, these capabilities make the ProMix M a dependable, efficient, and cost‑effective solution for wastewater treatment operations.

Your benefits

  • Three-Zone Mixing Chamber: Produces fully activated polymer without chain damage that creates stronger floc, lowers polymer use and provides more consistent dewatering performance.
  • A (Inline) or B (Batch) Controls: Can choose a system designed to best fit the site’s operating needs with manual speed control (A) or automated concentration control (B).
  • diaLog X Controller: Easy integration into existing SCADA/DCS systems offering network connection, data logging, real-time alerts (also via email) and remote control and monitoring.
  • Diaphragm or Progressive Cavity Pump: Ensures optimized solution quality and feed rate for reliable operation and less downtime in a variety of applications.
  • Open, Service-Friendly Mechanical Layout: Provides faster maintenance, easier troubleshooting, and quicker component replacement, reducing maintenance and downtime.
  • Up to 1,500 GPH (5,678 l/h) Primary Dilution Capacity: Handles high‑demand applications without compromising activation quality to handle throughput in peak conditions without overloading.

Field of application

The following list is a general representation of basically suitable applications for this product. Please contact your personal representative to discuss the use of the product in your individual application.

  • Emulsion and Mannich Polymer Activation: It efficiently activates both types of polymers used in wastewater treatment processes.
  • Coagulant Feed: Used for the precise dosing and mixing of coagulants in water treatment facilities.
  • Water and Wastewater Treatment: It supports the treatment processes by ensuring effective polymer mixing, which helps in the removal of suspended solids.
  • Clarification: The system aids in the clarification process by improving the settling of particles.
  • Sludge Dewatering: Particularly effective in dewatering applications, where it enhances the separation of water from solid waste.
